Most of this disc was recorded by Jeff Allman on cassette four track in Fahey's hotel room in Salem, OR. I went down to record some material too, using my DA-P1 DAT machine and a Stereo Pair but it it didn't make it on this disc because John was unhapy with his performance on that day. Some of the material did surface on the Double 78 and the Little Brother double seven inch. I ended up sequencing the whole disc in Pro Tools. It was a straight forward project for editing. Fanfare was difficult since the source material was so poor. This was Fahey's return to the music world so I am grateful to have been a part of it.
