This was an experiment in Phil Spector recording. Melody came over one day and
played one of her songs for me. I liked it and we recorded a simple four track demo of the
songs she wanted to do. Then we planned out how to do each song. She came over and
recorded each song properly on the eight track and doubled a few tracks and did all the vocals.
Then, as Phil might have done, I recorded all the other part either myself or with help from
the Sun City Girls. The production became a huge massive wonder. I was pleased with the
results of being able to produce a slick demo of this caliber. It brought tears to Melody's eyes
when she heard the final mix. Chalk one up to excessive behavior problems.
