Cut of the Month is FEAR OF DOLLS! I'm so excited that this material has
finally come out. Both sessions have been released simultaneously. Fans of
Swans, Public Image Limited, Alice Cooper, and Christian Death take heed.

For the first half of January, I was in the north eastern hinterlands with
CERBERUS SHOAL. This new record is an amazing collection of quirky pop
songs with one epic carnival ride complete with a UFO abduction of the a
surgeon, corpses whispering in your ear, grave diggers and sunny California
dreaming. It's like Disney's Haunted Mansion with a bit of Mr. Toad's Wild
Ride.

Alvarius B was in to work on his third solo record which is almost near
completion. This collection of songs pulls from the who's who of dementoids
in the NW. Immediately following this session was a few days with Sir
Richard Bishop starting his third record which is Django style gypsy music.
Fascinating. Smack dab in the middle of all this mayhem was a session with
the original Sun City Girls! Rick and Alan and Linda Cushma. What a party!

The end of the month rounded out with the mixing of Shea and Nick's record.
Fans of Radiohead unite!

I also wanted to mention the slew of CD that have just seen the light of
day, featuring Sublime Freq. releases from Nepal, Tibet, Thailand, Vietnam,
and Sumatra. The Tunog Pil-Am CD is finished which was the Filipino
Kulintang recording, two fear of Dolls CD's "She Dances Happily to Happy
Songs" and "Lullabies for Aborted Children". Also, Doublends Vert, which is
the trio of accordion, violin and clarinet (very soothing beats).

I'm now a proud owner of a 1/2" drill with a 3/4" auger bit that is 17"
long and will bore through your skull in 2 seconds!
