Ahoy there, maties! Arrrgh!!

CUT OF THE MONTH is a new JABON track entitled, "Mash Your Mouth". This little slice of genious pie comes ala mode, and was recently recorded by the eminent Joel Keyes here at Gravelvoice Studios. It has been a long time since this mad quartet made it to the studio, given state laws and fire codes. Thankfully, nothing was broken this time and the police only came once.

BRIDGET ST. JOHN finished both the tracking and mixing of her new powerhouse song "My Palace" for her upcoming debut release. Think Pat Benatar (that's a good thing) without all the vinyl and Aqua Net to muck things up.

FIREFLY PRODUCTIONS stopped by ever-so-briefly to record a voice over for a Department of Land Use promo (I get the coolest gigs, don't I!).

SUN CITY GIRLS put the final golden touches to their next smash hit "The Handsome Stranger". Fans of "Pint Sized Spartacus" - and I know there are at least three of you out there - and "Dante's Disneyland" will be thrilled beyond coherent speech with this CD. Bring a drool bib.

ELIZABETH FALCONER came in to record the soundtrack for a documentary on fire kiln pottery called "Recording the Flame" (again - cool, cool gigs!).

After several post-production trips back and forth between Seattle, New York and LaLaLand, CLIMAX GOLDEN TWINS have completed their soundtrack for "Session 9", a feature film by Brad Anderson which is due for release to theaters some time this summer. I'll keep you posted. -- I'm truly proud of these guys for what they've produced here; the Twins have outdone themselves in creating a superb sound for this film. What's more, "Session 9" is a film you wont want to miss (hint: see it on the big screen)!

LAURA SCHILLING took a day to record a few of her songs, too. (Note: ONE day, a FEW songs - the way it SHOULD be done!). This woman creates harmonies that rival great Crosby Stills and Nash numbers, which is a great feat in my book.
