Sugar sugar SUGAR! EVERYthing has sugar in it! Did you know that some
table salts have sugar in them for "easy pouring"? I don't understand, do
you?

Climax Golden Twins has completed the remastering of their ever-popular
"Victrola Favorites" - a series of cassettes on which compilations of our
78rpm collections, played on a Victrola Lowboy, are recorded. The volumes
range from Burmese to Japanese to Chinese and general madness. Have you
ever been ordered around by General Madness? Let me tell you, it's a TRIP!

The Twins have also completed the sequencing and editing of a 10" vinyl
release which will be out later this year (I don't yet know which label it
will come out on), This is a collage of misfits and odd pieces (all of
which are great but just didn't quite "fit in" with other releases) which
span the globe, giving you a constant variety of silliness and wonder.
Fans of the double seven inch will love this disk!

Bare Knuckle Boxers were in the studio this past weekend for a spilling
good time! They recorded a demo of 6 songs with their brand of amplified
Irish folk music, Idaho style! I believe this is a trend - punk rockers
returning to root-based music. Like or hate it, this eight member band
will turn a few heads and tap a few toes (and spill a few dozen beers on
your floor)!

Sandwhich People continue to record their Zappa-influenced music. They
have just informed me that they want to record more to make this release
album length. AND they are considering a Residents cover! Can you imagine
the temptation?

The Leatherboy CD is now out and available for your listening pleasure.
Recall that Leatherboy reminds me of Gibson Bros. or Bassholes.

Many moons ago, I edited an Amy Denio "Best Of" collection, and this has
finally been released on Unit Circle Records in Seattle, WA. Run, don't
walk...

My Northwest Studio News updates continue to be printed in Mix Magazine in
the Coast to Coast section. Check them out, whydoncha!

The Beefheart Box Set is slated to be available at the end of June! I kid
you not! No, seriously...
