Cut of the Month is the fabulous CERBERUS SHOAL. This is from the record
"Land we All Believe in" which is available now from northeastindie.com. I
recorded this project in January of this year. The schedule was tight but
we walked away from it thinking it sounded the most like the Shoal sounds
like live. They are currently on tour in Europe. Enjoy!

In the studio, MORTAL CLAY stopped by to tweak their mixes for their next
release. Very goth or medieval.

FASTER DISASTER hunkered down to do another record of great straight rock
numbers with a sense of humor. There was even a Motorhead cover in there.

ROGER MITCHEL stopped by to record drum set to Reason loops of his own
creation. This guy is like the second coming of Elvin Jones.

Miho of Christian and Miho's MALLET JAZZ flew in from Japan to record some
South American music of guitar, flute and marimba. Really really cool.

I spent a fair amount of time transfering remixes of classic Sun City Girls
tracks for a possible singles, comps and odd cuts CD at some point. Also put
the finishing touches on Alvarius B's 3rd solo record and an Uncle Jim LP.

And finally mixing began on the massive Animal Collective Record which is
due out in October on Fat Cat.
