The XXX AUDIO mixes have finally been completed, and they are as sweet and
tangy as sex in the morning! Look for their fabuliscious sounds next
month... until then, preoccupy.

KEXP honored me with the joy of a myriad of spectacular live broadcasts in
May, which included Juke, The Jet City Fix, The Ben Kennedys, The
Revolutionary Hydras, The Long Winters (lots of "The" bands these days,
what?), Sin Ropas, Black Nite Crash, Michael, and the extra-special Smoosh
(whom are 9 and 11 years old - if you aren't yet familiar with them, check
them out, for crissake!). Sometimes I'm a lucky, lucky man.

A few special moments were spent with TOM BAKER, EQing his guitar tracks
and choosing reverb settings for his upcoming solo guitar CD. Stay tuned.

LAURIE CARLSSON started tracking a bi-coastal project last month. Drums
are being recorded in Boston, but all of the other instruments for this
project will be tracked here in Seattle.

CLIMAX GOLDEN TWINS continued work on their upcoming CD, which is turning
out to be quite low key and extremely lovely. Such innovative characters,
those Twins!

ALVARIUS B began tracking Morricone covers, which are massive in their
soundscape. (Those of you who know me will understand that anything
Morricone is of my heart.)

Finally, mastering abounds for Halana, with two separate discs in the
works: Elaine Radigue, and a new Halana compilation featuring Eric La Casa,
Derek Bailey, Francisco Lopez and Borbetomagus. More will be revealed.
