The CUT OF THE MONTH is Deborah Bartley. She was in with a full band to record her second album. If you live on the west coast you can see her live in various places. The song up this month is "Transform". Deborah's music is that kind of folk rock country stuff that's pretty damn popular these days. You'll sing her songs in your sleep

YAM was in to track 5 new songs. Their brand of rock hovers somewhere in the Saturday Morning Cartoon Theme/ Punk Rock/ Dub/ Pop Rock - land. Confused? You'll just have to wait until they are cut of the month.

CLIMAX GOLDEN TWINS and DOUG THERIAULT stopped by early one morning to record set two of their Sonarchy set which will be broadcast in the future.

LORI GOLDSTON worked with Julian Martlew to produce the soundtrack to a dance piece by Rob Kitsos

A good half a month was spent dealing with data for ModernRecordingTechniques.com which is the website companion for the 5th edition of the book by David Miles Huber, published by Focal Press. I will be the administrator for this site which will support the book, list a database of all the schools I can find that have audio programs. There will also be contact information for all the manufacturers of audio equipment. A Links section to all manner of audio related web sites and in the future, forums, bulletin boards, etc. It's not online yet, but the new edition of the book is in stores. I'll let you know when the site is up.
