Grettings and Hello:

So many things have happened as I sit here bleary eyed typing this note to you. Let's get the stock stuff out of the way first.

I have a new stock of the Sun City Girls double CD's. Unfortunately I can not offer the great deal I did last time. They are now $24 each. Speaking of these CD's, did you see that Dante's Disneyland ended up at #6 in Rolling Stone's Alternative charts? Also, 330,003 Crossdressers ended up at #9 the next month. Gee. Other Sun City Girls news is that Midnight Cowboys will be released on CD later this summer. Be assured that we will stock copies of this and the proposed Live in Japan CD.

I still have some copies of the John Fahey double 78rpm for $20. I just finished editing his CD for Tim/Kerr which will be out in a couple months. This coming weekend I will be mixing a double single for Little Brother due sometime this summer.

Did you get your copy of Caroliner's American Heritage or William Hooker's Dream Sequences? These as well as a host of other releases are available through the Gravelvoice catalog at

My site was mentioned in the June issue of EQ magazine in a letter to the editor describing the Sonarchy Web Site. http://www.sonarchy.org

This is an important sound site and they have a new look now. In The Studio you will find my CD recording project. Everything is going well but we have about 6 month to go before completion. You have plenty of time to participate if you desire.

Speaking of Jack Straw and Sonarchy, applications for Jack Straw's Artist Support Program are available. The deadline for submittal is August 31st. You may call 517-0616 for more info. The ASP is a program that Jack Straw funds that allows artists who would not normally have access to a professional studio, the opportunity to present their artistic ideas for consideration for this award which includes 20 hours of recording time at Jack Straw.

Other projects that have just been completed include a Climax Golden Twins CD for Pure, A Suttree demo featuring Marc Olsen from Sage and John Vallier from the Climax Golden Twins, a Blowhole rock set recording and the Ken Griffin tribute CD for Amarillo featuring Charles Gocher on vocals.

Speaking of Charles Gocher, Charlie is producing John Coltrane Live in Seattle. What's that you say?!! It's true, on July 17th, the day of Coltrane's death, Charlie will play the Live in Seattle CD at the Taj resturant which is the original location for the recording of this CD. This begs the question, "In What form will Coltane appear?" The answer is forthcoming and just may be the New Catch Phrase
