A couple cool projects filtered though the church in the last month

Alan Bishop was in to master a new series of ethnic recordings. The three
volumes are for Sumatra, Java and Bali. very interesting stuff. Blows
Folkways away.

FEAR of DOLLS recorded a few new songs over at Self Adhesive. This stuff
sounds more like early Swans than previous material. Fun stuff.

I mastered another new Cerberus Shoal record titled "Bastion of Itchy
Preeves". This record was started prior to my recording which is officially
out now and charting all over the place on radio. That disc is titled
"Chaiming the Knoblessone". Look for this band in a theater near you if you
are on the east coast.

I transferred some interview tapes done with Albert Ayler's family members.
Interesting material. Part of a forthcoming Ayler box set on Revenant.

ELLEN FULLMAN brought in some recordings of her Long String Instrument and
oboe for mastering. Note quite done yet, but very beautiful stuff.

KEXP had me engineer live music by FRIENDS For HEROS and VELLS

the bulk of the month was spent deep in dialog editing for a forthcoming
feature film titled "A Relative Thing". Rob Millis ( Climax Golden Twins)
and I are doing the sound design for this feature.
