Ho hum, another bleak election in America... Suicide, anyone?

Cut of the Month is from the amazing TRANSMISSIONARY SIX, which includes
Terri Moeller (Walkabouts) and Paul Austin. What you'll hear is the last
cut on their new album titled "Get Down". Their low key vocals and
hypnotic guitar rhythms makes this the perfect autumn album.

I was immersed in KEXP gigs the entire month of October. During the one
week I had off of the fabulous CLIMAX GOLDEN TWINS TOUR, I went to New York
to mix KEXP's "live from New York" broadcasts from the Museum of Radio and
Television. We just cranked bands through the museum all week - it was
great! Most of these shows can be heard in the archives at www.kexp.org.

Lucky me, the CMJ Music conference was in full-swing at the same time, so,
of course, I had to drop by for the fun and prizes.

The CLIMAX GOLDEN TWINS played at the Northwest Film Forum's opening
celebration, with Jesse Paul Miller projecting film scratch loops with a
hand held projector for nuance. Beautiful!

Work continues on my new control room here in our 1908 church. Insulation
was inhaled, fingers were impaled. Good times...
